The series 5580 utilizes the daVinci CosmoTop Spin blend of 5 diameters of synthetic hair. The hair is mechanically sorted by diameter. Master brush makers form the brush head using thicker hairs on the outside and thinner on the inside to create a synthetic brush with high water retention, stable shape, a fine point and energetic spring. The CosmoTop Spin 5580 brush functions particularly well in the large sizes. For the artist in the market for a large round (available up to a size 40!), the CosmoTop Spin 5580 is a great value in a high performance brush. Ergonomic red stained wood handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules. You won't be disappointed in this brush!
