Raphael Kazan Squirrel ROUND Series 8383
The Raphael 8383 is made form pure Russian Kazan squirrel. Squirrel hair works best for very wet, juicy painting techniques. Large water carrying capability is the greatest benefit of Kazan squirrel hair used in watercolor brushes. Squirrel also produces a sharp point like sable but has less body or snap. The belly on the 8383 is set closer to the ferrule helping give the point more strength and snap. Black handle with nickel-plated brass ferrule.
