Siberia. All hair used in the daVinci Maestro watercolor brushes is dressed and
prepared in the daVinci factory to insure highest quality standards from raw
material to finished brush. Kolinsky sable rounds point and snap with unmatched
resilience and strength and the reservoir or belly holds tremendous amounts of
water to recharge the tip. The skill of the daVinci's brushmakers is apparent
in all size brushes, but especially so in the beautiful larger sizes.

Maestro Series 10 Sharp ROUND
The series 10 has the most extensive range of sizes available in a Kolinsky
sable brush. Brushes range from a miniscule10/0 to an incredible size 50!
Unlike some manufacturers who list larger sizes that often are not available,
the large size daVinci brushes are readily available and amazingly affordable
for the truly fine tools that they are. This brush features a long sharp point
with great snap and a tapered belly that holds plenty of water. Black handle
with a nickel-plated brass ferrule. The series 10 is the best selling daVinci
Kolinsky sable brush!

Maestro Series 11 Traditional ROUND
The series 11 is formed in the traditional English round shape which has a very
full belly and a sharp point which is less elongated than the series 10 and 35.
The exceptional snap and full belly of this brush make it a great watercolor
'stroke' brush and less detail oriented. This shape is equivalent to
the Winsor & Newton series 7 Kolinsky sable brush. Black handle with
gold-plated brass ferrule and available in sizes up to 24.

Maestro Series 35 Extra Long Tapered ROUND
The series 35 has an extra long sharp point and a more tapered belly for
greater detail and line work. The point and snap of this brush is amazing. The
series 35 is almost like a round and a liner in one brush. Comfortable black
ergo-handle (the wide portion of the wood handle has flattened edges for a more
comfortable hold and to be non-rolling) with nickel-plated brass ferrule.
Available in sizes up to 24.
