The series 1208 is a special very short Kolinsky round brush for retouching or spotting. The belly is very low, near the ferrule of the brush. The extra short hair produces a strong point for great control and precision when doing detail work. Retouch brushes also work very well for heavier bodied paints like gouache and egg tempera. Blue stained handle and nickel-plated brass ferrule.
