The Sky Flow Wash series 278W is the best known of this Robert Simmons series.
White Sable is the original synthetic brush, pioneered and developed by Robert
Simmons in the 1970's. This was the first brush to use synthetic exclusively to
replicate red sable. White Sable is a very soft yet resilient fiber. The thick
bundle of the Sky Flow Wash allows it to hold a lot of water for juicy washes.
Bronze colored handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
Robert Simmons White Sable Synthetic One Stroke Flat Wash Series 721
The White Sable is the original synthetic brush, pioneered and developed by
Robert Simmons in the 1970's. It quickly gained and has maintained a great
reputation among watercolor painters. This was the first brush to use synthetic
exclusively to replicate red sable. White Sable is a very soft yet resilient
fiber. The series 721 is a flat wash brush with long fibers for thick to thin
strokes, washes and glazing. It holds a lot of water and produces a nice chisel
edge. Bronze colored handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.

The series 755 is an aquarelle wash brush available in three sizes that has a
beveled end on the handle for scraping. The fiber length is shorter than the
one stroke wash brush. The Skyscraper Wash produces a crisper spring and a very
chiseled edge for controlled washes and finer painting. Bronze colored beveled
handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
