Escoda Takatsu Synthetic for Acrylic & Oils
The Takatsu series of brushes from Escoda is slightly stiffer than their Toray white synthetic. The Takatsu has beautifully distinctive coloration with a bone colored body, a black wide line and a very fine white tip. The extra natural spring and resilience of the blend of filaments makes the Takatsu an excellent choice for acrylics and oils. The long handles are two tone red stained with a black tip and have nickel-plated brass ferrules.
Series 3075 Takatsu Synthetic ROUND The rounds in the long handle Escoda lines run larger than other brush lines. The series 3075 round comes to a very fine point, with great snap. The small sizes (starting at a 3/0) are exceptionally fine detail brushes.
Series 3050 Takatsu Synthetic BRIGHT The series 3050 bright Takatsu has short hair out and handles broad strokes of paint well. The fiber combination creates a nice sharp edge to this flat brush.
Series 3060 Takatsu Synthetic FILBERT The Escoda series 3060 Takatsu filbert has more of a domed shaped that culminates in a very fine tip. A great brush for soft edge painting that also handles detail well with its sharp point.
