daVinci Nova Synthetic Brushes for Acrylic and Oil

The synthetic fibers used in the Nova series of brushes from daVinci differ from other golden synthetics. daVinci uses a fiber that has small ridges along the hair to slow down the flow of paint off the brush. This is particularly advantageous when using light body or thinned down paints, giving you more control over color application. The Nova synthetics are a soft fiber brush, slightly stiffer than the softest white synthetic but softer than Top-Acryl. The Nova work well for reducing visual brushstrokes and blending. Dark green long handles with nickel-plated brass ferrules.

Series 1670 Long Handle ROUND Nova Synthetic
The daVinci 1670 Nova round has a broad range of sizes starting at a tiny 3/0 and going up to size 28. The small sizes have sharp points for extreme detail and control.
