Escoda Kolinsky Sable Oil Brushes
Escoda produces a quality line of Kolinsky sable brushes for oil painters. The fine haired Kolinsky sable forms a brush head which is soft, responsive and great for controlled work. The soft hair is excellent for delicate work, eliminating brushstrokes and glazing. The Escoda Kolinsky brushes perform well and are well priced! All shapes have blue handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
Series 2410 ROUND The Escoda brushes generally run smaller in size than other brushmakers, but the series 2410 round Kolinsky for oils is substantially larger! Check size comparisons to make sure you are getting the brush size you want. The rounds have a great range from an extremely small 5/0 for detail to a size 18!
Series 2913 BRIGHT The 2913 bright Kolinsky for oils has a nice painting edge for even paint application, elimination of brush marks and paint control.
Series 2813 FILBERT Escodas series 2813 Kolinsky for oils has an almond, very elongated and pointed, filbert shape. This makes it a filbert that is good for both detail and for producing broader, soft edge strokes.
