daVinci Ox Hair For Oils
Light Ox hair brushes are an alternative to Red Sable and Black Sable brushes. They are less expensive than the sables, particularly in the largest sizes. Light Ox hair is sometimes dyed red and called Sabeline. Ox Hair is similar in use and performance to the Black Sable and Mongoose hair brushes. Ox Hair is a cylindrical type of hair, so it does not have a full belly and tapered point to the hair. For this reason, Ox does not work well in a round shaped brush.

The smooth light ox hair is a less expensive alternative to sable and squirrel for a wide wash brush. They work great for washes and glazes. Flat wood natural handle.
