daVinci Plein Air Chungking Bristle
daVinci makes a range of bristle brushes with shorter handles (less than 10") to fit in travel or Pochade boxes without having to cut down a traditional handle. The strongest white hog bristle comes from the city of Chungking in China. The hog bristle length on these brushes is shorter and stiffer. Handles are black with seamless copper rust resistant ferrules.
NOTE: European sizes on these brushes

The rounds work well for detail in the small sizes and make bold marks in the large sizes.

A filbert is a flat with an oval tip for softer edges and a tapered stroke. This filbert is quite short and has a very domed shape.
