Robert Simmons Signet Bristle
One of the first brushes developed by Robert Simmons in 1952 was the Signet Bristle brush. Simmons uses select quality naturally curved Chungking bristle. The brushes are formed with the natural curve of the bristles interlocked and set deep in long ferrules. The Signet is resilient, sturdy and ideal for heavy body paints. Signet has a reputation for durability and performance over many years. The beech wood handles are beige with a green tip and gold stripe. The ferrule is nickel-plated brass. The Signet is a strong, durable brush and highly recommended for painters using stiff, heavy body paints.
